A few years ago, I went to an estate sale and bought a bunch of canvases from this artist lady, Janelle, who had passed away. Most of the canvases were blank, but a few of them had sketches that she had started but never got the chance to finish. It didn't feel right to simply cover up her unfinished work, so instead I decided to complete it for her. I tried to keep as many of her brush strokes and ideas on the canvas as possible, while still turning it into something that is a combination of both her and I. This collabrative project was so incredibly special and heartbreaking to work on. I'm very proud to own this piece and I hope that it brings a bit of love into your home as well :)
